NOW OPEN
After a major expansion and refurbishing.
 |
|
Located
on the banks of the Ebro river, El Figueral is the perfect
place for a top-class, self-catering holiday, especially if you love
hiking or have a keen angler in the family. Summer 2009 saw the final refurbishment of El Figueral take shape. This resulted in blending a modern contemporary living space woven into the tapestry of the original rustic farm house (Masia) - without loosing its own Spanish charm and appeal.
|
When you are tired of the river view, cool off in the pool. |
Just completed in time for Xmas 2008.
|
El Figueral is a large working fruit farm (Finca) with the Masia perched in an ideal elevated position. This embraces wide panoramic views of the Ebro River, the fruit groves, the green valley and the overlooking Cardo Mountains.
El Figueral is ideally positioned in a secluded, quiet and sunny position. The stunning
setting, river views, garden and swimming pool are worth the trip
alone. The "finca" comfortably sleeps up to 10 people.

The 80,000m2 Finca grows olives, oranges, mandarins, cherry's and peaches. It borders on the national park, a bird sanctuary and the famous River Ebro, where Private Fishing is available to guests.
Access is via 2 km of a small country lane off the route C12 (Opposite access road to Benifallet) before reaching the entrance to El Figueral where a steep climb leads to the parking area & garage in front of the main entrance.
You have now left the hectic pace, noise, traffic and pollution of the city far behind. Relax, unwind and dine indoors or out. Don't fancy cooking try one of the very good local restaurants in the village of Benifallet.

This holiday can be as exertive or relaxing as you want it to be. The finca stretches right down to dip its toes into The Ebro with its own private fishing swims. The home of the giant Wells Catfish.

For historian buffs the opportunites are endless. Beaches are only 30 minutes away and golf courses are 40 minutes - to mention but a few of the activites available.
